Coca-Cola Supply Chain Executive Joins Supply Chain Careers

Chris Gaffney lends his supply chain expertise and leadership acumen to Supply Chain Careers, joining Founders Rodney Apple and Michael Ogle.

City – Asheville, NC – Adding to their growing roster of supply chain experts, Supply Chain Careers welcomes Chris Gaffney as a Partner. Gaffney joins Founders Rodney Apple and Michael Ogle who look to expand the reach of this startup based in Asheville, North Carolina. Gaffney brings with him more than 2 decades of supply chain experience with Coca-Cola. His leadership and supply chain expertise add depth of talent and knowledge to an already highly credentialed team of supply chain experts.

Chris Gaffney was most recently VP of Global Strategic Supply Chain at The Coca-Cola Company. After retiring from Coca-Cola in 2020, he now serves as a Principal at ECG, providing advice and consulting in the Supply Chain space. During his 25-year tenure with Coca-Cola, Chris held multiple leadership roles including President of Coca-Cola Supply, SVP Product Supply System Strategy, VP of System Transformation, and VP of Logistics for North America. Chris was previously the President of the National Product Supply Group, a governing body responsible for 95% of volume produced in North America. He brings a wealth of hands-on supply chain expertise and leadership to Supply Chain Careers. 

Gaffney has recently written an article for Supply Chain Careers on Employee Retention Strategies where he lays out what employers will be facing this year and how they can keep their most va employees.
