Role Objectives & Challenges
Our client was seeking a senior level leader with unique expertise in developing strategic, global supply chain initiatives across a complex manufacturing and distribution network for large, low volume/highly variable products. Additionally, SCM Talent was to seek a unique candidate that could navigate challenges and raise the strategic ability of every facet of supply chain including integrated planning and strategic purchasing and sourcing. Moreover, this individual would report directly to the CEO of the company and, ideally, would have experience working at the highest levels of a global organization.
Our Approach to Solve the Search
In-tandem with the CEO, we were able define ideal targeted industries, companies, and candidates. With that, we identified candidate profiles utilizing our network and sourcing to deduce the ideal candidate pool and ran outreach and communication campaigns on a focused and concise timeline.
The Hire & Results
Ultimately, after presenting a small pool of especially qualified candidates, our client made the successful hire through our practice (and remains in the role today). Like a lot of our hired candidates, the successful candidate in this case has continued to partner with us filling out the supply chain team further.
